TRAVEL INFORMATION
Airports
The closest international airport is Bradley International (BDL) in Hartford/Springfield. It is about a 1-hour drive from UMass. Logan International airport in Boston (BOS) is about 2 hours from UMass.
All events will be held on the University of Massachusetts Amherst campus, in or near the Computer Science Building, with the exception of the Saturday morning brunch, which will be in the town of Amherst. (Carpooling to the brunch will be encouraged.)
Off-campus guests arriving by car Friday morning may park in Lot 31 (across the street from CMPSCI Building) or Lot 45 (on lower/west side of CMPSCI Building). It is important to park only in unmarked/unrestricted spaces (i.e., no sign, no meter). Your car may remain there through the evening.
Guests arriving after 5pm for the evening event at the Campus Center have the option of parking in the Campus Center Parking Garage for a fee of $3 (maximum rate for the evening), or you may park in any non-24-hour restricted lot without a permit, or park at any meter. The lots closest to the Campus Center are 64, 65, and 30.

We would be happy to provide assistance in coordinating transportation from the airport(s), if there is sufficient interest and schedule overlap. If you are interested in ridesharing, please send email to Michele Roberts with the following information:
