Homework 4a has been updated. There is a major modification to question 2, which hopefully makes it easier to do. Again, please start early as a homework 4b will also be available soon.
A makeup exam for the midterm is also available now. Its due a week from today (Nov 17th). Please plan accordingly. Let either Huzaifa or Victor know if you have problems finishing the exam before its due date.
